Modern Ayurveda, made practical

Hi, I’m Paula.

As a dyslexic adult, I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate a fast-paced world with a highly sensitive, non-linear mind. Standard lifestyle advice and rigid wellness rules rarely work for our unique systems—in fact, they often add to the pressure.

I built AYU Shift to provide neurodivergent adults—including those navigating dyslexia, ADHD, and chronic overwhelm—with a gentle, practical path to ground their stress. Together, we move out of constant mental loops and into a life of effortless leadership, deep vitality, and genuine joy.

Welcome to my virtual home. Whenever you are ready, let's explore your unique operating system together.

A Shift in Awareness

The first step in our work together is simple: we change how you view your system. When your mind and body run on a constant state of high alert, standard lifestyle rules don't work. By shifting your perspective, you can begin to see that your chronic burnout, digestive trouble, or sensory overload aren't signs of failure—your system is simply trying to process too many inputs at once.

Because your nervous system operates with such high sensitivity, it requires a comprehensive, multi-layered approach to feel truly supported.

Instead of giving you a rigid checklist, we focus on gentle, sustainable adjustments:

  • Fine-tuning daily habits

  • Tailoring simple nourishment to your unique biology

  • Using supportive herbal formulations

Together, we safely optimize your settings and restore immediate comfort to your physical vessel so you can lead with clarity, without short-circuiting.

What is Ayurveda?
(Pronounced: Eye-ur-vay-da)

Stripped of complex terminology, Ayurveda is a timeless science of personalized circadian biology. Developed in ancient India and shared as a profound gift to the world, it is built on the truth that everyone runs on a uniquely internal operating system.

Explore More

However, Ayurveda is a living science meant to adapt. The ancient sages mapped human biology beautifully for their time, but they couldn't have foreseen the profound changes modern technology would bring to our nervous systems.

My approach honors these classical, nature-based roots while updating the remedies for our modern, high-processing world. We realize that you don't "grow out" of a highly sensitive operating system—you simply use these time-tested concepts to befriend it, safely returning your body to its natural baseline.
